Description
1) Delivers maximum amount of Fe++ (Ferrous) to the duodenal brush border and produces minimum GI adverse effects.
2) Inhibits the conversion of ferrous to ferric ions; hence increased absorption of Iron.

Perception
1) In prophylaxis of IDA-1-2 mg/kg/day in divided doses
